STUDIO

FAQ

What is Slow Fashion?

All KM Studio accessories are made by hand by a small family owned company in Poland. When dealing with natural materials such as leather, I want to ensure that time, respect, and care are given to the animal, the maker, and the final product.

Slow Fashion is an awareness and approach to fashion, which considers the processes and resources required to make clothing, with a particular focus on sustainability. It involves buying better-quality garments and accessories that will last longer and values fair treatment of people, animals and the planet.

How long will I be on the waitlist?

Waitlist times can range between 2 weeks to 3 months depending on the demand and

resources for a product. I ask my producers to assemble no more than 15 Ull coinpurses a week. More designs will be available in the near future for those looking for a more classic and neutral accessory.

Do I need to pay in advance?

No. I will only offer a product if I have it in stock. I cannot provide a pre-sale for KM Studio products due to the cost and standard required to produce a single item.

A product is in stock! How long do I have to purchase it?

For waitlist items, you'll have 48 hours to purchase before I offer it to the next customer.

Will you ever make products using faux leather?

Not at the moment. PU (polyurethane) leather is a plastic product. While it is comparably cheaper and would help price down my designs, the durability and sustainability of PU leather products is dramatically lower than using a natural and biodegradable leather. If a product is well made, it will last longer and is less likely to be discarded.
